Summary
You can message guests who booked through Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, and Vrbo directly from your Godo Property account.
You can view all messages from the " Messages" component on the Front Desk.
The complete message thread with a guest is available in the “Messages" tab of each booking.
You and your guests will see the messages in the channels extranet and apps as well.
Setup in Godo Property
No setup is needed, except adding the message component to your Front Desk. You can do so in your Front Desk by unlocking is and choosing > Components > API Message
If using the Auto Actions for automatic emails, we recommend adding a plain text version to your Auto Actions as they do not support HTML format.
Set "Send Message" on the "Messaging" tab in the Auto Action to one of the API options (Booking API and Email Smart or Booking API and Email).
Some OTA´s allow links and attachments, others do not. See below:
Airbnb
Airbnb allows links to confirmed reservations and attachments in JPG, GIF and PNG format..
The messages will be added to the Airbnb reservation message thread.
Booking.com
Booking.com allows attachments but no links or pdfs.
You and your guests will see the messages in Booking.com Messaging Center.
Expedia
Expedia supports attachments in JPG, GIF, PNG and PDF format.
Vrbo
Vrbo supports attachments in PDF, JPG, PNG, and GIF format.
The messages will be added to the Vrbo reservation message thread.
