Fixed Prices for Travel Agencies

When Creating Travel Agency Prices we use the Fixed Prices option under Prices in Godo Property.

Creating a new Fixed Price

To create a new price go to Prices - Fixed Prices and click on "add New Fixed Price"

Summary

In the Summary tab of the price please input the name of the price fx. "High Season - Net ISK", then input the room price, please note that you can update the room capacity that the room price applies to if you have different prices depending on occupancy. Then you can also use the single price column and extra person column.

Input the dates that the price applies to and choose the strategy "Do not allow any other prices" this will ensure that when you start creating bookings that you will get the correct price each time.

Make sure that the "Max days in Advance" is set to 999 days so that the price is bookable far in advance since most travel agencies book long into the future.

Rooms

In the rooms tab please choose the Room that the price applies to and choose the correct offer "Travel Agents". Usually that offer is number 3 or 4 but it can differ between properties, if you dont have a Travel Agency offer please contact Godo support.

Channels:

In the channels tab please tick only the "property.godo.is - agents". Choosing any other channel might risk that this price will overwrite your OTA or website prices.

To link the fixed price to customers, please input in the "Agent code" column, the corresponding Agent code that is in your customer setup (Settings - Invoicing - Customers). 

You can have multiple agent codes if you have multiple travel agency contracts for different travel agencies.

With the agent code option you can link the fixed price and the customer together, this can be a code word of your choice. Usually we recommend something like "NET-ISK" or if the price is only for a specific company then the company name fx "TESTTRAVEL".

Remember to update your customer list.

Creating more Fixed Prices

When starting to create the next Fixed Price you can simply copy the fixed price you just created with all the correct settings but just update the rooms and prices:
